A note from our Moderator
Under the steady leadership of Moderator, Pastor Kerry W. Tillmon, our aim is simple: serve the whole East well—clear communication, strong cooperation, and warm encouragement. You’ll see his voice in reflections, decisions from the body, and pastoral guidance that keeps us aligned.
Our promise
- No fluff. Short, clear, useful.
- No confusion. Dates, times, places—spelled out.
- No one left out. Web, email, print-friendly options.
- All glory to God. Stories that build faith, unity, and momentum.

News is better when it moves. Share the Beacon with your family, your pastor, your choir, your ushers—whoever needs to know what God is doing across the East. The best is still ahead.
